OUR BELIEFS

GOD

We believe there is one God and that He exists in the persons of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (The Trinity)

JESUS CHRIST

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin as prophesied by the scriptures. We believe He was sent to earth to redeem man back to God. We believe He died, was buried, and raised from the dead and will return again a second time to take all those who believe on His name into His heavenly Kingdom. We believe He alone is the Way to salvation (everlasting life).

THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe the Holy Spirit indwells, sanctifies, seals, fills, gifts, teaches, comforts, and empowers the believer. We believe He is ever present as promised by Jesus and secures each believer’s salvation in Christ. (John 14:17, Ephesians 4:20)

THE BIBLE

We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God and every word written is to be honored and obeyed as the infalliable law of God.

We believe the Bible describes hell as a place of permanent suffering and separation from God for those who die without accepting Jesus Christ. God’s desire is that no one be separated from Him. This is why He sent Jesus Christ into the world so that those who believe on Him, will not have to experience eternal separation from God.

CHURCH ORDINANCES

We believe that water baptism represents the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It was demonstrated by Him and commanded as part of the Great Commission. Likewise, we believe Holy Communion to be a similar representation of Jesus’ sacrifical death and should be observed in His rememberance as commanded.

SPIRITUAL GIFTS

We embrace the five-fold ministry offices of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher and all the gifts of the Spirit as recorded in scripture. (Ephesians 4:11, Romans 12, I Cor. 12) We believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit are given to “perfect the saints, for the work of the ministry, and for the edifying of the Body of Christ.” (Ephesians 4:12)

We believe signs and wonders will follow those that believe as stated by Jesus Himself in Mark 16:17-18. We believe these signs to be miracles of healing, deliverance, prophetic utterance, and any other sign and wonder the Holy Spirit chooses to manifest for the glory of God at any given time. We believe these supernatural manifestations should be properly discerned and guided by Pastoral and spiritually mature leadership.
