Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father, except by me.” (John 14:6)(KJV) God showed His mercy and proved His love by making it possible for you to have a relationship with Him. The Bible speaks of God’s love in the Gospel of John 3:16. “For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He gave up His only begotten Son, so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (AMP)

Sin blocks man’s relationship with God. The Bible declares, “There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God…” (Romans 3:23) (NIV). Be assured you are not alone. Jesus’ sacrificial death on the cross destroyed the power of sin. Not only did He die, but He was raised from the dead and now sits at the right hand of God (Romans 8:34) (NIV). When you have faith in what Jesus did for you, the Bible says, you will be saved (Acts 15:11).

God loves you and He has a wonderful plan for your life. His heart’s desire is that you accept His gift of eternal life. He wants to restore a relationship that has been broken down between you and Him. You can restore that relationship with God right now. The Bible says in Romans 10:9-10, “That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord”, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”(NIV) You can invite Jesus into your heart by praying this prayer:

Father, I recognize that I am a sinner and I need you in my life. I believe that you sent Jesus to die on the cross for my sins. I believe that he was buried and raised from the dead. I invite you into my heart and I ask for forgiveness of all my sins. I want you to be Lord of my life. Thank you for your gift of eternal life. In Jesus name, Amen.
